Today on our 2020 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CIPA Universal Fit Dual Lens Towing Mirror, which is also sold as a set. Whenever we use it towing mirror, it's really going to help expand our field of view. That's going to be especially useful whenever we're making lane changes, backing up into a tight parking spot, or maybe even just wanting to keep a closer look on what's going on behind us.So to give you an example, as you can see, I'm visible in our towing mirror and not in our factory mirror, and because of the dual lens design, we kind of get a couple of different angles if that one up close and in the smaller lens, more of a wide angle. But if I take a few steps closer to our trailer, I'll disappear out of that towing mirror and become visible in our factory mirror.And that's really going to help eliminate any blind spots too. One of the big questions we get asked in regards to universal fit towing mirrors is if you're going to have any rattle or vibration associated higher speeds. more

We're not going to have to remove or replace anything. The casings are going to be constructed of a durable plastic that's going to hold up all weather conditions. K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors Review - 2016 Chrysler Town and Country- Video

Today in our 2016 Chrysler Town and Country, we're going to be installing K Sources Universal Dual Lens towing mirrors, part number KS3990.As you can see here, I'm clearly visible in our factory mirror, but as I take a step towards the outside, I'm no longer visible in the factory mirror, but I can clearly be seen in our universal towing mirror. This is particularly useful when merging onto the highway, changing lanes, and during parking maneuvers.Each mirror has two lenses. You'll have one flat mirror and one convex mirror. The convex mirror is going to give you a wider angle of view, but objects in that mirror may be closer than they appear. While the mirror's installed, you'll still have full adjustment both vertically and horizontally of your factory mirror. And the breakaway function can still be utilized without contacting the body or glass.On the back you'll have two ratcheting straps. more

You can also get these in a quantity of two, with part number ks3891-2. So as you can see here, I'm clearly visible in our factory mirror. But as I take a step towards the outside, I'm no longer visible in the factory mirror, but I can still clearly be seen in our universal towing mirror.This is particularly useful when merging onto the highway, changing lanes, and during parking maneuvers. Here we have our factory mirror installed with our towing mirror, and we've got it backed up to our trailer. We've got a perfect view to the back of our trailer with our factory mirror. Though if I step out to the side just a bit we're going to lose that visibility in our factory mirror, but gain it in our towing mirror. This is going to be great whenever we're driving down the highway and need to pass vehicles, or whenever we're trying to park our trailer. Now this is a dual view mirror, so if I step out even further to the side here we're going to have an even wider range of visibility. The larger face of our towing mirror is going to be fully adjustable to change our field of view to whatever we need. more

Today on our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the clip-on towing mirror, part number: 7070. Now we've gone ahead and hooked up our trailer to our vehicle and we've placed on our towing mirror. As you can see, we have clear visibility to the back of our trailer, though if I step out to the side, we lose that visibility in our factory mirror, but we gain it here in our towing mirror. This is going to be great whenever we're driving down the highway and need to pass vehicles, or whenever we're trying to park our trailer. With our towing mirror installed, we have full adjustability to change our field of view to whatever we need. We can also rotate it so that we have a wider field of view. The two tabs at the top and the bottom of our towing mirror are going to clamp around the housing of our factory mirror. It's also going to be coated with rubber, so it's going to prevent any scratches or abrasions and we still have full adjustability of our factory mirror. Our towing mirror has straps that help us secure to our factory mirror. more

With our factory mirror in its original location, you can see how much we can of the vehicle and some of the trailer, however with our towing mirror you can see a lot more of a trailer in this side.That should give you plenty of visibility for your trailer going down the road. We have one installed on our passenger side mirror here. With this part number you get one of each assemblies, so if you need one on each side order two of the same part number. Today on this 2012 Chrysler Town and Country, we're going to install part number 7070. This is a clip-on towing mirror from Cipa. A couple of dimensions about the towing mirror itself is that it's 5-inches by 7-1/2 inches and the strap length is going to be about 14-inches. This part number includes one mirror. If you would like two of the towing mirrors then you would have to buy two of the same part number. This will fit in most car and truck applications. We've got our mirror laying down on our table, face down so we can show a couple of features about before we put it on. more

Today this 2012 Chrysler Town & Country, we're going to install towing mirrors, part number 11953, from CIPA. This is a dual-view clip-on towing mirror, and its part number is for one mirror. If you want one for each side of your vehicle, you just need to order two the same part number. We're going to start off with our mirror lying face down on our table, show a couple of details about it. First off, these arms right here are adjustable. Loosen these knobs and you can adjust the mirror to fit a variety of factory mirrors that's already on the vehicle. We found out that basically about a little over an inch difference here between these two edges work out fine for a factory mirror on our van. Then here's our arms right here. more
